Charity of the month wishing well
We’re on the hunt for The Potteries Centre charity of the month for 2022.
The Potteries Centre is calling on Staffordshire and South Cheshire charities to register to be in with a chance of becoming one of its 11 charities of the month for 2022.
Over the course of the year, each month, a local cause will benefit from donations to the centre’s brand new wishing well, which is set to launch in February.
Visitors will be able to donate money to the new wishing well through contactless card payments or traditional penny wishes, with each month’s chosen charity set to receive one hundred percent of donations made throughout the month.
In addition to bolstering their fundraising efforts, each charity will receive visibility on the centre’s website, social media posts, the possibility of team volunteering hours and promotional space within the centre to benefit from the centre’s footfall.
Commenting on the centre’s new charity initiative, Amy Whittaker, general manager at The Potteries Centre, said:
“Helping our local community has always been an important part of what we stand for here at The Potteries Centre. In 2021, our teams supported 15 local charities and not-for-profit organisations, through fundraisers, events and partnerships. This year, we’re committed to going one step further to help even more charities. And, our new charity wishing well initiative forms an integral part of those plans.
“Staffordshire and South Cheshire have so many fantastic charities and organisations that do such brilliant work, day-in-day-out, and we look forward to doing our bit to help support them.
“If you know of a charity doing amazing things in Stoke-on-Trent or the surrounding Staffordshire area, we’d love to hear from you. Simply fill out our nomination form and they could be in with the chance of becoming one of our charities of the month this year.”
