Circus Skills Workshops

Description: Come along and join us for our free Circus Skills drop in sessions with The Circus Academy Leek. Circus skills on offer include spinning plates, juggling, hula-hoops, stilt-walking, poi, flower sticks, fun wheels and much more. Expert tuition from Liz will mean that children and adults alike will be able to show off their skills in no time – Circus skills are great fun for the whole family!
The Circus Academy Leek is delighted to be able to attend a wide range of local events including drop-in circus skills sessions, children’s birthday parties, school circus workshops, Scout and Brownie sessions, SEND workshops etc.

Permanent Jewellery Pop Up – Jessica and James Stylelab
Date: Saturday 5th October
Time: 10am – 3pm
Permanent jewellery pop up by jewellers Jessica and James Stylelab in collaboration with Keep it Local at the Potteries Centre Hanley. Book your permanent jewellery experience with us online. Come and design alone or bring a friend/loved one and create a lasting bond. No need to choose your jewellery in advance, you can pick from a bracelet, anklet or necklace on the day. Personalise with charms and release your inner designer. Your jewellery will then be custom made to fit you perfectly on the day. Bracelets start from £45 in sterling silver and £55 in 14ct gold filled

Musical Theatre Workshops: Inspired by Chitty Chitty Bang Bang – Regent Theatre
Date: Saturday 12th October
Time: 10am & 11.30am
Description: Come along and join us for a fabulous Musical Theatre Workshop hosted by the Regent Theatre. The workshop will be an hour-long musical theatre workshop inspired by Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. You can also catch the stage production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang as it hits the stage at the Regent Theatre, Hanley from 22nd – 27th October.

Rug Tufting Workshops – Tufting Around
Date: Monday 14th October
Time: 9am & 2pm (4 hour workshop) £85
Description: Ever wanted to design and make your own rug? Tufting around are offering rug tufting workshops. In your beginners Rug tufting workshop, you will be using industrial equipment, I will teach you how to use the rug tufting gun and all the different techniques. This workshop lasts around 4 hours, and you will make your own mini rug during the workshop, all complete and ready to take home. The workshop includes all materials and equipment. Full support is given and is beginner friendly.
